The fjords in Resurrection Bay are truly remarkable. As you can see they are granite and the trees and other plant life that grow on them are hydroponic. The trees are home to many birds of prey including falcons and bald eagles. There are several pictures of our National bird below. We also encountered a pod of Orcas.
