Supermoon of May 5, 2012! On average, the full moon coincides
with perigee (closest approach to earth) once every year. May 5th's
could be more than 10% bigger and 30% brighter than an average full
moon, but it would be hard to tell as there is nothing to compare it
with in an open sky. You dont't need a telescope to see it. Just enjoy it
using your eyes.
